Chapter 1Why research? I found this chapter very interesting. It is amazing how much research I do on a daily basis without even thinking about it. Especially, if I am are trying to make a wise decision. I know when I am trying to make a decision I take all sides into consideration. I would prefer to make a proactive decision instead of making one I regret. The out come never seams to be as good if I just put a little effort in to researching before making a final decision. I really feel that this chapter has helped look at the different way to do good research (using multiple sources and answering all questions I may have through brainstorming) and why it is important. Looking at each topic from as many sources and points of views and collect all information in order to develop a creditable research paper. If I do not use proper brainstorming to create different questions or use multiply sources my research may seem very bias and may be obvious to the readers I did not do my research. It also expressed some great points on taking into consideration the audience being written to. This may change the way of writing my research paper. Things may need to be taken into consideration depending on the audience.
