This weeks homework really help me define and understand plagiarism. I will use the checklist as a reference throughout the rest of this project and class. I will also use it for future projects to avoid any type of plagiarism. It was interesting on how it broke it down and made me aware to even be careful of unintentional plagiarism, which I don’t think many people achieve this awareness while writing. I think it is easy for one to unintentionally change words around to avoid it but yet still be committing it.

I really found the information pertaining to summarizing and paraphrasing very helpful. When I really look back on past projects and how I would have defined the two as being very similar or even the same now I understand the difference and will apply these practices to all future works when asked to do so.

The last thing I found helpful was taking detailed notes. It gave detailed instructions on how to achieve good notes that will create quick references for information I may find important to my research. I will use these strategies in the future to help keep my work organized and to make it easy to reference when needed.
